[SOLVED] Problem on running X

Hi all
My VGA processors are like this:

$lspci | grep VGA
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 3rd Gen core processor Graphic controller (rev 09)
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation Device 1058 (rev a1)

I can't $startx unless install vesa.
Why X couldn't run with Intel or nouveau.

Please link me a helpful page.

Re: [SOLVED] Problem on running X

Post your relevant X logs from when you had xf86-video-nouveau/xf86-video-intel installed.

Okay
This is the two of them
I think you should read Xorg.log.0.old

Re: [SOLVED] Problem on running X

In the future, I recommend that you use a text hosting service, such as pastie to post logs, rather than a file hoster with a 30 second download delay. Make it easy for people to get the information they need, and it'll be easier for them to help you.

It looks like X worked fine for a minute and a half in Xorg.log.0.old, it was then closed normally, without errors. The second log shows that it was running for 60 seconds before it closed, this time with a number of input/output errors. What was displayed during these times? And how were you closing the X session?

I am a newbie. So this is time to know and learn something. I'm sorry but after that I'd report better than I do this time.
Before install vesa, X said giving up because Nouveau couldn't run and as well as Intel.
It's problematic for me why intel can't run.

Yes, as this page mentioned I use NVIDIA Optimus laptop. But I can't understand. If I install KDE, every thing going to be OK?
Yeah?
