[SOLVED] KDE 4.10: Nepomuk file indexing does not work

The new-and-improved Nepomuk file indexer does not seem to do anything in KDE 4.10. And if I turn it off again, I get this error message:

The name org.kde.nepomuk.services.nepomukfileindexer was not provided by any .service files

So it looks like something is broken there.

Re: [SOLVED] KDE 4.10: Nepomuk file indexing does not work

Thanks, Yoda, this looks like the same problem. Apparently the indexer does not descend into subdirectories, so if it is set to index $HOME, it will only add files in the home directory to its index.

Oh well, maybe KDE 4.10.1 will fix this issue.

P.S. Today's nepomuk-core update seems to have fixed the indexing issue.

Re: [SOLVED] KDE 4.10: Nepomuk file indexing does not work

What did you do to get the indexer going after installing the latest update? Because my Nepomuk still says:

File indexer is idle.
Indexed files: 66 files in index

:-(

What did you do

In my specific case I suspended indexing, modified the folders to be indexed (you could create a dummy folder to toggle indexing for that purpose perhaps), applied the setting then set indexing to resume.
