[SOLVED] Cannot connect via SSH using archlinux-2013.02.01-dual.iso

Been using Arch for a few years as a general file server and a bunch of HTPC's (myth/xbmc) around the house. I'm still a noob and only survived because the Wiki's are so good. Over that time and with all the changes my systems have become a bit of a mess and I thought I'd just do clean installs.

I'm having issues with sshd so I can do the install from my desktop. I followed the wiki (https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Install_from_SSH) and did the 2 required commands but I'm being denied using archlinux-2013.02.01-dual.iso

Login: root
Permanently added '192.168.0.30' (ECDSA) to the list of known hosts.
Permission denied (publickey,password).

So question is, what amateur mistake have I made here?

That error looks like the root password is still empty. Are you sure you changed it like the wiki says?

Re: [SOLVED] Cannot connect via SSH using archlinux-2013.02.01-dual.iso

Definitely changed. Granted I only used a simple password of "admin", it verified it and I got the update confirmation.

I don't mind the new install method, but not setting up 4 machines typing all that out by hand on the TV's sad

EDIT: Set root to use the same password (10 char alphanumeric mix) as the box had with previous install of arch and it worked. So can only assume that even though it accepted the update, short password was the issue? Either that or did something wrong....
