i'm trying to setup automounting. i use PCmanFM as file manager.
installed
pcmanfm
gamin
gvfs
udisks
polkit-gnome
i also added the polkit rule

even when pcmanfm runs as daemon, my usb drive is not mounted...
am i missing some thing? are all the packages i installed required?

As of May 24th, 2015, in a rainy Sunday morning, it still seems to be necessary to install udiskie to have auto-mounting working with PCManFM. I installed all the gvfs* packages, udisks2, started pcmanfm in daemon mode, and did a lot of research. Still, installing udiskie was what solved it for me as well.
I'm not sure if I should have opened another thread to say it, and then link to this one. In any case, I think this thread has helped a lot of people since it was opened.
