[SOLVED ] Setup custom packages repository

Hello,

I want to make repository for a Arch Linux based distribution, because I'm using different kernel and that requires compiling new virtualbox kernel modules, drivers for nvidia cards and so on...

Plan is to use google code as mirror; here you can see it
http://code.google.com/p/archpup-reposi … loads/list

Now, I don't know if it is possible at all, but can someone help me with instruction how to add this repository to pacman.conf. I see that for core repository there is core.db, containing information about all packages in that repo, but how to make one for a custom repository, couldn't find info about that on Arch wiki.

Thanks for you time

Re: [SOLVED ] Setup custom packages repository

Though the title says "local", the "custom local repository" wiki page has the details you need for creating a non-local repo.

I don't know how suitable google code would be as a hosting service for it though.

Re: [SOLVED ] Setup custom packages repository

Thank you very much smile. Now I can just add
[archpup]
Server = http://archpup-repository.googlecode.com/files
to pacman.conf and use new repository. That's really great, thanks again
