Emerald won't start, causing broken windows
I'm running xfce4 and with installed compiz-fusion and running command compiz --replace, I get no window borders. Checking windows decorations on in ccsm doesn't help. I can provide additional info if needed.
Oh, edit, emerald --replace does nothing.

In xfce configurations, make sure you have the compiz window manager set and not xfce wm. There should be a setting in ther. When I ran compiz in my mint box, I remember having to make those changes.
