Just updated and found about hpijs being switched to hplip. On one machine I got it working through CUPS. But on my laptop CUPS only shows CUPS+Gimp-Print-4.2.7 drivers. On the working machine I get foomatic/postscript drivers. Can anyone help? I've tried removing and reinstalling various packages (foomatic-db-engine, foomatic-db-ppd, cups).

The -1 release of hplip doesn't contain the foomatic ppd files. For the -1 release I force-installed hpijs to get them back. Better solution is to upgrade to the -2 package, which contains the required ppd files.
