mutt weird looks

hi i subscribed to the arch mailing list but the mails i get have really odd subjects. loos like some encoding error. but with no other emails.
i use Eterm and mutt for my emails.
here is a screenshot

Try "set ascii_chars = yes" in your .muttrc, Mutt will then use ASCII characters for your thread-trees. This will probably fix it.
