I'm quite astonished. Both the pacman-Package and the PKGBUILD for Azureus requrie "swt" (don't ask me what that actually is) which on it's side requires Gnome beeing installed while, according to the azureus-website, you only need GTK and Jre to have it running.
So isn't it possible to install Azureus without libgnome and stuff - I really don't have much free disk space to waste for this Gnome-Garbage I won't use anyway ...

Well, until yesterday (in version 3.1-1) it DID depend on "libgnomui" - seems they have changed it now ... I'm fetching now.
And thanks for the hint!

It did? Well.. I guess I haven't been keeping bleeding-edge uptodate. Ah, well, glad it's all figured out.

Yeah, I think Simo made a minor mistake in packaging swt. (BTW, swt is a widget toolkit 'like swing' (just like Linux is an OS 'like windows') that provides native OS widgets. I believe under Linux is uses GTK.) Its all happy now though.

Yeah, I spotted this one and bitched to Simo and he kindly dropped the gnome deps from swt. As he explained to me Azureus includes it's own swt files which he was trying to, ummm, what's the word Dusty? His info said swt need libgnomegui (I think) but it seems it doesn;t so he repkg'ed it Good lad he is
