[SOLVED] Error With Tuner

I've completed a new Arch install which was quite a job as it has been a while since I have had to do it. I have a Sony PlayTV tuner connected to this machine and I am getting an error:

dvb-usb: Sony PlayTV successfully initialized and connected.
[    4.144002] dib0700: rc submit urb failed

[media@media ~]$ ls -l /dev/dvb
total 0
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 120 Nov  5 08:08 adapter0
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 120 Nov  5 08:08 adapter1
[media@media ~]$ 

When I go into the Mythtv backend the tuner will occasionally turn up but more often than not it isn't there.

My knowledge in Linux isn't strong enough to work out what might be the cause of this so hopefully someone can help me get it sorted so the tuner will work.

I'm not sure, it may require firmware to work.
