Trash loop hell.........

OMFG my install has nearly filled my 40GB partition, and I have just found out why...
There is an error with the trash can on kde3.43 (testing) or with gnome 2.12.

when I empty the trashcan it gets backed up to  .loca/share/Trash

there is over 9 Gigs of space consumed in there which cannot be emptied if I do it gets placed in Trash if I empty trash it ends up back in .localshare/Trash
all this while run as normal user.....

permissions issue.......

was set at  dr..x..x..x

I have never changed the perms on this or has an issue where I was locked out of home...
would have if some pkg had changed the perms

not really sure what caused it but have now reclaimed over 22GB
from that loop.....

I would recommend checking  .local.share/Trash
if you have both gnome and kde installed

well you path seems a bit mangaled or atleast I don't have a .local.share/trash

Anywyas go into the dir. in terminal.
ls to make sure it what you want to remove and do
rm -rf *

its .local/share/Trash
the problem was a dir in ther called files that everything else was dumpered in its solved now as per my above post

having forced the .local to be deleted the correct perms are now on the file... weird as hell!!!
