Hi everyone,
I use KDE desktop and upgraded system yesterday through pacman. It installed Chromium new version.
Since that upgrade, Chromium requests user password on first opening.
Can someone explain me why? And how can I avoid this behavior? It's unacceptable in 2013 that a browser requests user password on first opening...
Thanks...

This happens when you have kwallet enabled in systemsettings -> account details. The first time kwallet is acessed after desktop startup, it asks for the password.
You can setup the wallet with no password, or just disable the wallet. I did the latter on my desktop box, and would rather accept the annoyance on a Laptop.

It's not Chromium. It's KDE's continued use of the utterly craptastic KWallet.
