[SOLVED] Running early hooks

Hi all,
When booting Arch, I get below message:

running early hook [udev]
running early hook [lvm2]

My hooks array looks like below in /etc/mkinitcpio.conf:

HOOKS="base udev usr block fsck resume lvm2 filesystems shutdown keyboard"

I have read that systemd-tools replaces udev, so it can be removed from hooks array and instead I have to put systemd-tools there? but lvm2 requires udev....

Why do I get those messages?

Any ideas to solve it?

Maybe its just me, but I think those messages are just telling you that its running those hooks. Are you actually experiencing some problem?

udev was merged into systemd, but the mkinitcpio hook is still called udev. This is unrelated and there is no need to change anything. The messages are simply mkinitcpio telling you what is doing. If you don't want to see them, add "quiet" to your kernel boot parameters.

^ Adding "quiet" to the boot parameters hides a lot of things, but not those lines... But yes, they are harmless, purely informational, and I am afraid the OP will have to live with them.

I have the "quiet" parameter, and I don't get those messages...

I am not experiencing any problem. All go ok but as I was getting this message at boot up I thought that maybe something was wrong, so I tried to put these hooks early/later in the hook array but those messages continue appearing.

Maybe its just me, but I think those messages are just telling you that its running those hooks. Are you actually experiencing some problem?

Ok,
thanks everybody. For a moment I thought that those messages were not normal and that something was wrong but if you say they are purely information I believe you and I am calm then.
