Hi all,
I've updated cinnamon yesterday and now cannot found "effects" settings. I'd like to disable hot corner. Could anybody advise on that?

But to disable hot corner you don't do it in 'Effects'?, I believe it's in Cinamon Settings Hot Corner and uncheck 'Hot Corner enabled'.
I've had problems too with the cinnamon update. I had to install ,in addition to the update, cinnamon-control-center to open settings, otherwise it just won''t. Even when I could open settings I couldn't add a keyboard layout because the settings just closes suddenly. And also couldn't open applets.
What I did was to remove control-center and downgrade to cinnamon 1.6.7-7
Though wait for others answers that are more knowledgeable as I'm still new to arch.
EDIT:
When upgrading the system I ignored cinnamon so I could update everything else.
You can do it by uncoment in the file
/etc/pacman.confIgnorePkg = cinnamon Or just adding --ignore cinnamon when updating
pacman -Syu --ignore cinnamonLast edited by arcaid (2013-02-26 21:13:50)

1. Right click taskbar
2. Go to Setting --> All Settings
3. Next to search bar is an icon with three gears, switch to Advanced Mode.
4. Hot Corner settings should be visible now.
Hope this helps

Thank you. Didn't notice "advanced mode' gears. Solved.
