Hi All,
I really hope this isn't a dumb question because of me missing something, because I have read the Wiki page.
If I just run the stock kernel, and have 'nvidia' installed, do I need the 'nvidia-hooks' from AUR as well, or are the two packages normally in sync w/ updates?
It wasn't quite clear to me on the Wiki and I couldn't tell if 'nvidia-hooks' was only for folks either running custom kernels and/or drivers direct from Nvidia or if everyone needed it.
Thanks so much
Jayson

Sweet, thanks so much. I tried out Arch for a while back in '11 and just built a new box and decided to give it a go again (and have some real control over my own system). I loved the new installation scripts...I was up and running w/ GNOME installed in no time ![]()
