Libreoffice Git

I have posted a package for building libreoffice from the GIT repos (currently version 4.1.0). This is for those who want the most up to date libreoffice possible (since the old Arch Linux motto was to be bleeding edge). Note, it took me three hours to compile the package on an i3-2105.

Pretty sure that was never the Arch Linux motto. Also "bleeding edge" != dev/beta versions.
(not that there's anything wrong with creating a PKGBUILD for this in the AUR)

Re: Libreoffice Git

Does this AUR package really warrant it's own topic on the forum?

I tend to comment things a lot since I have a poor memory (and I handle a lot of code). I find commenting also lets other users at least conceptually grasp what is going on (even if they have less expertise with the subject).

Sure, comments are totally fine in general, but they should not describe really trivial things like

cd ${srcdir}/; ## enter the source directory

That's just one example, your PKGBUILD is full of those.

But I respect your way of writing scripts, this was just intended to be a hint, because your PKGBUILD is really exhausting to read.
