cannot set the default search engine in rekonq 1.0

hi,

after updating to rekonq 1.0 the default search engine doesn't work anymore, when i write a word to search in the address bar, it tries to go to http://[word to search] instead of using google to search for it.

Tried removing the config file but the problem is still there.

Anyone experiencing this?

edit: also shortcuts like 'gg' don't work. Everything works fine in konqueror

Yes same problem here. Looks like there may be some missing files/package.

I solved it by installing and uninstalling (if you want to remove) konqueror
