[solved] bizzarre signing issues on install
Hi all,
I am not new to arch, but this is the first install i will have done with the package signing on.
So i followed the install guide, and I was having issues with it telling me:
some_package from maintainer <email of maintainer> is unkown trust.
it did this for all packages, and i tried all sorts (pacman-key --init , pacman-key --populate) but it didnt fix it so i went into my pacman.conf and turned it off.
this allowed me to run pacstrap fine, but "arch-chroot /mnt pacman -S grub-bios" is having the same problem even with signing turned off
how can I fix this?

Is your clock and date set correctly? So I assume you did install using our offical image from the download page?

ok I tried all over again (it seemed easier than carrying on with the mess I was making) and it worked this time around.
Bizarre, but at least my problem is resolved.
