Inventive Arts: violation of Arch Linux Trademark Policy?

I'd like to report the following as possible violations of the Arch Linux Trademark Policy:
http://www.youtube.com/user/InventiveArtsHD
http://steamcommunity.com/groups/InventiveArts
http://www.facebook.com/pages/Inventive … izard=true
http://inventivearts.daportfolio.com/gallery/789446
http://www.youtube.com/user/darkiz1337

More pages may be found with e.g.:
https://www.google.com/search?q="inventive%20arts"

In case Inventive Arts is indeed linked to Arch Linux, I apologize in advance for the misunderstanding.

A sticky thread for reporting possible infringements might be nice?

Probably better to go to the ML where Aaron will see it and then unleash the Arch Legal Team: Snarl, Grimace and Gnash.

If you guys know what to do now, please go ahead, including posting the links to the ML, I can't really help further on this one...

Why would a movie company want a nipple as their logo?

I sent them a snide Facebook message. That'll teach 'em. I'll be interested to see how they respond,  though.

Don't do that. It doesn't help anything and it will only make the problem worse by poisoning the initial discussion. It may be that they simply do not understand the gravity of what they have done or that someone designed a logo for them without full disclosure of where it came from. Let the right dev talk to them first before everyone starts sending spamming them with hatemail and other bs.

Re: Inventive Arts: violation of Arch Linux Trademark Policy?

I have sent an email to arch-dev-public: https://mailman.archlinux.org/pipermail … 24640.html

edit: The message has already been passed on to the right people and they will handle it. I am closing this thread to avoid inciting more users to contact Inventive Arts directly.
