no sound when playing mp3

ok so out of no where after an upgrade mp3 support wont work
WHAT I HAVE TRIED:
removing all instances of alsa and pulse audio and reinstalling lame mpg123
googleing and googleing
running alsa with no pulse support
and i fail
m4a and videos work just fine
i also set settings in pavucontrol to duplex
output from lsmod | grep snd

for some reason i cant get mp3 support to work and i ran out of ideas
any help would be greatly appreciated.

update this is now fixed reinstalled mad and did yaourt gstreamer and reinstalled 10-22 and worked again so if for some reason you have the same issue as me then there is your simple solution
