I'm 17 years old and I have 3 years of experience with linux.

I have to say that i'm prod of being arch user because it meets my preferences like being simple and nice.
I've been using arch for about 1 year and it's absolutely stunning !

Hi, My name is Joel and I'm from NB, Canada.
I'm 32 years old and have been running mostly linux for the last few years. Started out with Ubuntu, then moved to Fedora which I loved until an upgrade that didn't agree with my old computer. Even had arch on there for a little bit but could never get it right. Now after being tired of reinstalling everything every 6 months I decided on trying Arch again and got it just the way I like it for now. Had some trouble with bcm4313 wifi and atheros ethernet but got them going so other then some netflix issues it's all good.

Looking foward to learning more about the Arch way....only been a few days but loving it so far. No clutter like in Ubuntu.

Hello to all.

I have been using slackware and ubuntu for quite some time only had arch on my old laptop and have seen some significant changes due to systemd. So far I am happy with the new arch.

I may ask technical questions here and there but for the most part I will just be using the forums and wiki as a resource. If I can help with a problem you might have I will but probably wont be often

Anyway, thanks for arch it did my old laptop well. (this one too lets hope)

Hello, everyone. I am a long time Ubuntu user, but have in the course of time found myself resorting to Arch Linux forums/wikis for answers to technical difficulties. So that when I had to choose an OS for my newly-acquired Raspberry Pi, I decided it was payback time and installed - carefully, fearfully - the apple of your eyes onto the little bugger, and everything ran without a glitch to speak of, even though it had to be done entirely via ssh.

Now that I have made a small donation, I not only set my conscience at ease, but have also seized the moral high ground; and to be worthy of this newbie epithet, I have to ask a question!

What docs would you have me read, to get a better picture of the Arch Linux in the technical - but not too technical - sense? This in the obvious hope that by understanding some of what I shall read, I shall avoid pestering you with silly questions on the more specialized forums.

Hello everyone.
I've been using Arch for a few months, but never felt useful to this community. Now i have a bit of knowledge about Linux, and i think i would help in this community, so i joined .
I have to say thanks to the devs for this great distro, and probably the best linux wiki. Thanks to the huge community for supporting the AUR.

Hello folks,

After years using Ubuntu/Debian (and others), I get bored because Ubuntu is too much Ubuntu and Debian it's too much "stable" (or crazy if testing/sid ). I just discover this distro and is really nice keep updated my OS without the Debian GPL restrictions, also the documentation wiki is really nice.

I hope that I can stay with this distro for long time.

Hey guys. I got introduced to Arch when I was looking for a lightweight distro to put on my CR48. I'm still having some issues with the installation but I loved playing with it in the VM.

just wanted to say very impressed with Arch so far... using LXDE as desktop manager and everything is silky smooth and lightening fast!

Holla!

I've been using Linux for more than an year, and hopping between many distros,
Finally I think I've found the One, its Arch!
For me, Ubuntu and Fedora gave it a tough competition a while back, But I was just being a bit lazy, Realisation has struck me, none can suit me more than Arch.
Its simplicity, user-centric approach, and the wonderful installing experience makes it Awesome! (I forgot to mention awesomewm too! )

Hello everyone! I have been using Arch for a week, and I must say I am impressed by its speed, stability (yep, that `s true), easy configurability and most of all, its 10 sec boot time on my low-end hardware! I am 15 years old, using linux for a year now and my previous linux distribution was sabayon linux. It was a great distro, but I think I will be an 'avid' archer from now on!

Oh, and systemd rocks!
