hi
i set the same size of fonts in urxvt and xterm, but the space between the fonts on urxvt is looking like too large.
how to change the configure on urxvt make it look it xterm(it on the right side of bottom)

The problem with this is that according to the man page, it has to be compiled with "frills". In the rxvt-unicode PKGBUILD, the last configuration option is "--disable-frills".
I really wanted to change to this after reading your post, but I think this might actually be more work than simply using the rxvt-unicode-patched package from the AUR. Thanks for the tip though jasonwryan.

It works fine with the standard rxvt in the repos:
┌─[Veles ~]
└─╼ pacman -Q rxvt-unicode
rxvt-unicode 9.18-1
For example, I use:
URxvt.letterSpace: -1

Edit: It sure does work! Thanks again jasonwryan. The fonts look slightly different, but I don't really care too much. I am not sure if I would really consider them better or worse... I'm not too picky about such things.
