all mp3 + ogg playback doesn't work atm, i try to find a fix for that, i love when things changes from rc to rc

That's because package maintainers have access to the source a few days before the release. It gives them time to build the packages and test them so that the packages are ready on the release date.

The screensaver module seems broken- for some odd reason it kills the screensaver daemon.
If I access the screensaver settings directly via the xscreensaver configuration module, everything works.

Well, does it matter? No doubt we will see KDE 3.5.1 before too long anyway - if your waiting to conserve your bandwidth then I suggest you keep waiting - it always takes a little while for these things to stablize

hehe, to be honest i don't really want/need kde 3.5 because i don't use Desktop environments, and i like pekwm, but i just wanted to brag about having the latest packages before they are even released, stable I mean...

the packages are always latest and greated what packagers get. For others the tarballs are released with the announcement on kde.org
