KDE - Change icons

Hello, I was googling for a while trying to find out how to change a specific icon/banner on the KDE application launcher. (couldn't find out)

I'm trying to change:
--the little banner on the top of the screenshot, where it sais: ""kde desktop""
--the icons at the bottom, favorites, applications, etc

Thanks in advance!
Cheers!

Re: KDE - Change icons

changing the banner is easy: just  insert your custom banner in your home folder (/home/<yourhome>/.kde4/share/apps/desktoptheme/<activetheme>/widgets/branding.svgz) where "branding.svgz" is your custom banner.

I'm not completely sure about the bottom icons, but afaik they're inherited from the icon theme (not the plasma theme like the banner), so you need to navigate through the oxygen theme icons (/usr/share/icons/oxygen; find the icons used by kickoff and replace them with other icons.

Eventually, you may want/need to create a copy of the oxygen icon theme (like "my-oxygen") where only those four icons are different and then install it as a custom icon theme.

Maybe there is a cleaner method for this, but I'm not aware of it.
