[SOLVED] Gnome3 very slow with ATI OS drivers

Because of Xorg 1.4 I switched from the Catalyst drivers to xf86-video-ati. The problem is Gnome3 is now very slow: it looks like there is no 2D acceleration.

I have a Radeon 7850 HD. And here are some data about my configuration:

I just fixed the problem by switching the 2D acceleration method to "glamor" (https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/ATI#Glamor).
