synch problem with macromedia flashplayer

Hi,
I've noticed that if I watch news clips or watch music videos that are downloaded into macromedia flashplayer in Firefox that the picture and sound get way out of synch.  Anyone have any ideas how to fix this???

i've had this problem forever. i don't think anybody knows how to fix it. i also find that the video stutters as a sound clip is starting or stopping, which is common in flash games. very irritating.

if only macromedia opened up their damn code...
