[Solved] Overheating of Dell N4110 with Intel/ATi hybrid graphics

I added

blacklist radeon

to my /etc/modprobe.d/radeon.conf

I suppose that my graphic card is draining my battery. But when I tried the method suggested in WIKI to switch off Discrete Graphic Card using VGA switcheroo, I am unable to use /etc/rc.local. So please suggest me a way to turn off my discrete graphic card.

Thanks in advance

Edit ==> My lspci | grep VGA output

00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 2nd Generation Core Processor Family Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 09)
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices [AMD] nee ATI Caicos [Radeon HD 6400M/7400M Series]
