I've been having some strange problems with my Alfa AWUS036NHA wireless USB adapter:

About five minutes after I boot, NetworkManager starts frantically connecting and disconnecting from all of my saved wireless networks. Sometimes it takes 10 seconds and other times it takes five minutes. I'm within 20 feet of my main router and can connect just fine with my netbook, which has a pretty crappy wireless card compared to the Alfa.
Every time it disconencts, dmesg spits this out:

Aircrack reports channel problems as well when I put the card into monitor mode and scan on a fixed channel:
[~] sudo systemctl stop NetworkManager
[~] sudo killall wpa_supplicant
[~] sudo airmon-ng start wlp0s20u1
Interface Chipset Driver
wlp0s20u1 Atheros ath9k - [phy41]
(monitor mode enabled on mon0)
[~] sudo airodump-ng -c 1 mon0
CH 1 ][ Elapsed: 0 s ][ 2013-04-01 20:27 ][ fixed channel mon0: -1
BSSID PWR RXQ Beacons #Data, #/s CH MB ENC CIPHER AUTH ESSID
...
My interface name also randomly changed from wlan0 to wlp0s20u1 before this all started, so I'm not sure what's going on at all.
