Catalyst official driver, bad behavior

Hi guys,

by a couple of months i lost the fully functionally of my video card (radeon 6250).
In this moment, i have a laggy windows when i try to move, when i open xbmc for use the hardware acceleration with youtube and hd movies, i get the error:

"XBMC needs hardware accelerated OpenGL rendering. Install an appropriate graphics driver."

The fact is that i have an arch distro by 2 years and regurarly updated both (xbmc and catalyst) without any problems.
The cherry on the cake is that i can't also install xvba-video because:

"Missing dependencies:
catalyst>=10.12"

But i have updated yesterday and i have recompiled my linux kernel with mkinitcpio and everything goes fine.
I have this problem with catalyst-utils for auto recompile and catalyst-dkms.

I followed the wiki for an help but with bad results. I tried this part:

Direct Rendering does not work:

Write this: LIBGL_DEBUG=verbose glxinfo > /dev/null
Have output of this:

[black@arch]$ LIBGL_DEBUG=verbose glxinfo > /dev/null
X Error of failed request:  BadRequest (invalid request code or no such operation)
  Major opcode of failed request:  155 (ATIFGLEXTENSION)
  Minor opcode of failed request:  66 ()
  Serial number of failed request:  13
  Current serial number in output stream:  13

Anyone can help me guys?

Had the same problem today. Reinstalling Catalyst driver helped.

sudo pacman -S catalyst-dkms

Wohoo many thankss man!! It work well but now i can't try the hw acceleration with youtube videos.. but xbmc works and also the windows are fast when i moving

Had the same problem today. Reinstalling Catalyst driver helped.

sudo pacman -S catalyst-dkms
