[Solved] kernel 3.8.6 and nvidia don't work

Today I upgraded to kernel 3.8.6 and after the reboot I had no working X anymore. After some investigations I found that the nvidia module from nvidia 313.30-3 does not work with the new kernel. Seems that it needs to be recompiled?

Downgrading kernel to 3.8.5 fixed the problem.

Can anybody verify this?

Harvey
