Steam & visual glitch with KDE

Since nobody seems to have this issue, i figured it would be the best to open this thread.

Whenever i try to start a steam-game with my desktop-shortcuts, it will show me this dark-grey box on the top-left egde of my screen:

But also if i end the game, that visual glitch is still there when running dolphin or other apps:

The only solution is to end steam.

Is there anyone with a similar problem?

You are not the only one, though I don't know, if this bug was reported.

i have this problem too, what is your graphic card? mine is intel hd sandybridge

Nvidia GTS 450 with the proprietary driver. So obviously it is not just nvidia or intel specific.
