While Pulseaudio has been working fine without a hitch, I've experienced a weird issue. On other Linux distro's when using Pulseaudio if say you have a flash video playing, and then you start playing music from a different program Pulse would lower the volume of the flash video. It was really handy, especially for VOIP software. I use Mumble a lot while gaming, and there's an option to lower the sound of the application playing when people are talking, etc. Not having that working is really troublesome as I can never hear them. I've tried researching on my own, but haven't come up with any solutions. I have all the programs; pavucontrol, paprefs, etc. The only change I've made to the default installation is adding tsched = 0 to fix the weird audio garbage Pulse was producing with my sound card. Although my volume issue was still happening before I did that.
I'm not sure if there's just some option somewhere I don't have enabled, or if there is a way that this can be fixed. I'd greatly appreciate it.
System's up to date, and my sound card is the Creative Soundblaster X-fi Champion Edition.
