Hi!
I have been using Arch a year ago in another laptop almost with no problems, and I recently bought this one (Toshiba L755-0Pv01S). But there is something strange with this one, because it does not detect the fn keys (only volume works). When I close laptop and open it again, surprise! fn keys work perfectly. I have been reading similar topics, but no one seems to apply for me (maybe because my limited knowledge). For example in xfce if I try to make a random keyboard shortcut using, for example brightness fn keys, it doesnt show up any pressed key. If I close the laptop and open it and try to do the same thing, it detects, in this example, XF86MonBrightnessUp.
Anyway, I do not know what exactly is going on, so any help will be apreciated. Any information you need please tell me how to bring it to you.
Greetings!
Kernel: 3.8.6-1-ARCH
Desktop Environment: XFCE4
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-2330M CPU @ 2.

Welcome to the boards.
I would start by determining the difference in state between before-close and after-close.
Check, for example, if any additional modules are loaded and, if necessary, autoload them.

First, please use code tags when pasting to the boards.
Second, the expectation is that you will diff the two files, work out the differences (if any) and investigate what the differing modules are responsible for and then, if you have a winner, autoload it.
Arch is not a handholding distro.

Thanks for the reply.
The only differences between lsmod modules were nls_cp437, vfat, fat, usb_storage & ums_realtek. I have load them all, but no winner here.

As an extra data, acpi_listen remains blank when using fn+Fx keyboard combination.
