X11 issue

Hello.
I'm getting a nasty error when trying to start xterm:
[andrei@ceorapel ~]$ xterm
Warning: Tried to connect to session manager, Authentication Rejected, reason : None of the authentication protocols specified are supported and host-based authentication failed

The window appears, but the shell doesn't get invoked anymore. I'm using the core current X11 package. In Xorg.log there seem to be no errors.
Any help would be greatly apperciated.

Re: X11 issue

How about providing more information? seeing as it "cannot connect to session manager" - what session manager are you running?

Re: X11 issue

I was using the latest version of xfce which can be found in the 'extra' repository. nevermind, I've dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/hda  and installed FreeBSD.
