Problem with -hg PKGBUILD after pacman update

After I updated to pacman 4.1.0, my PKGBUILD for sunflower-hg stopped working for me.
For some unknown reason makepkg fails to clone the needed mercurial repo and src directory turns out to be empty at the time of the build.
What has gone wrong?

Your PKGBUILD needs to be updated for the new VCS packaging style.  Check out the wiki for details.

Sorry, can you point out the right page for me? I looked up the wiki in the first place, but haven't found anything related to the problem.

Thanks for your help, now I figured it out. Not everything was exactly obvious though, and the change itself was quite surprising.
I think you should, at least, write a news article for those like me out there.

Reading the change log and rereading the manual when there is a major release of a important tool you depend on should be common sense.

moderator action: I removed the TGN part of the thread. Please do not continue the discussion on whether pacman releases should have a news article in this thread. Thanks.
