Hello. I just added a 5.25" bay card reader to my desktop but it uses a USB 3.0 20 pin connection on the motherboard. My motherboard only has one and I have my case's USB 3 header plugged in to it. Along with the card reader, I bought a Silverstone Internal 19P dual port PCI express to USB 3.0 (model no: SST-EC01-P) to add the header I needed. The PCIe adapter comes with a driver disc for windows, but I can't seem to find anything to get it working on Arch. Is there a driver that can be used or is it not supported? If not, will it be any time soon with kernel updates?

Your card is already supported in linux mint 14.
So naturally arch must be too, if its an upstream device driver.

Okay I got it working. Once you showed me that it should work, I did some looking and found someone with a similar problem. Turns out my second PCIe slot on my motherboard is dead. Switched slots with my network card and the card reader is working but my wifi isn't through the card. Anyway, got it figured out as a hardware problem. Thanks!
