After some more playing around with dwm and getting status colors, I have a much improved update from that garish thing I posted before tongue

Clean (for some reason the wallpaper (?) causes the colors to go really dull in the screenshot. The second pic is way more accurate)

problems with gtk2, gtk3 and globalmenu in a non unity environment??, pfff is a lie

the only problem is that wxgtk segfault so frequently and that qt not integrate to the gtk{2,3}-aqd+afce4-macmenu-plugin

XD I save 16 pixels on my small screen

Yes I did :-)

However, the patched font contains only the symbols. But since I defined it as "Fixed SemiCondensed", it somehow gets combined with the normal Fixed font, so I can still use it as an "extension" to my beloved Fixed font... I have no clue how it works exactly - but anyway, here you go:

symbols

The symbols are all defined in the Unicode private area (except the triangle symbols for the vim statusline, they are at around 0x2B80).

On the other hand, the symbols in the right part of the statusbar are not actually symbols (since my self-defined symbols somehow won't show up on dzen), so I simply created xbm graphics and display them on my dzen bar.
