no internet connection

I can no longer  connect to the internet.  If I use adsl-start I get the answer command not found.

Sometimes it is helpfull to use the search function in this forum. With the keyword "pppoe" the first thread, is what you are looking for. ;-)

This is a known bug in the pppoe package. Have a look at

thank you for replying. I searched for adsl-start and other commands as well as rp-pppoe but couldn't find anything applicable as I somehow lost the command. I much prefer searching for answers as it is quicker. But sometimes I don't know how to do the search.
