empathy freeze when login in fb chat

hi, since gnome 3.4 ~ 3.6 (and 3.8 now) when i add facebook acount in the gnome setting, every time when i boot arch, gnome freeze for 30 sec or 1 min.

is a bug this? or is normal for loading the fb contacts in empathy?

sorry for my english, my natural languaje is spanish

I haven't seen any freeze, but thats because I can't even add a facebook account at all in 3.8
