Synaptic touchpad detects hovering finger.

My synaptic touch pad can detect me finger even if it is hovering 2~3 mm (0.079~0.12 inches).

This happens only for two finger scroll.

If for example I am scrolling with the two finger and I lift the one finger in order to single click it is very likely to generate a middle click. If I lift the one finger uncomfortably high the problem doesn't occur.

Setting FingerLow, FingerHigh high (I can go to 75 before the touchpad becomes unusable) doesn't seem to help.

Any ideas?

Re: Synaptic touchpad detects hovering finger.

If I lower FingerLow, FingerHigh values I can move the cursor from a distance of 1+ cm...
