mplayer (vainfo) give "Inconsistency" error

i have a ati card and all drivers installed, when i try vainfo, it give an error :

also, mplayer -vo vdpau somevideo, it gives the same error and fall back to xv. although i can still watch movie with xv, the error makes me uncomfortable.
any help.

Setting vo option in ~/.mplayer/config (vo=gl3) worked fine for mplayer but I ended up downgrading to libvdpau 0.6-1 to get rid of the same problem with other apps.
