Package installation history

Hello everybody,

I've already searched the forums, but didn't find a solution.

Is there a possibility to search with pacman / yaourt / pacaur / etc... for all local installed packages which have been installed in a certain period, e.g. all packages installed in the last 7 days?

pacman gives me the installation date of a package with:

$ pacman -Qi package_name
...
Install Date   : So 28 Apr 2013 03:03:51 CEST
...

and I get a list of all explicitly installed packages with

$ pacman -Qet

But who could I get only the list of the packages installed in the last 7 days?

Thank you!

Re: Package installation history

Or just look in /var/log/pacman.log.

Re: Package installation history

A slightly different approach (based on n last times you run 'pacman -Syu' and not the date) is used by a program called 'whatdidido' https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php … 87#p626487
