Since I installed gnome 3.8 I lost my activity hotcorner. And no, I didn't apply this tweak, I lost this after the 3.8 update. How to debug this? I have no other problems. I did install Gnome Tweak Tool and enable the Dark theme for all apps, but that's it

"Like the Message Tray, the Activities Overview hot corner has also been updated to use pressure sensitivity. This means that you are less likely to accidentally activate the hot corner." - from Gnome 3.8 Release Notes.

Yes I read that. Should I make a screen recording to convince you it's not there anymore?

Have you installed any extensions? Have you tried login as another clean user?

A clean user has the same problem; so I don't think extensions cause this.

Try to 'hit' the hot corner with speed and it works. If you hit it to slow, Gnome thinks you went there by mistake.

I have the same problem... I think the problem i related to the xf86-input-mtrack driver that I'm using on my macbook air. it works whit a mouse but not with the trackpad.

Same problem. Did a fresh install of Arch this weekend and installed GNOME after it. Everything works just fine except the hot corner.
Alt+F2 -> lg -> Enter
Doesn't show any errors

I'm running fully updated arch with gnome 3.8 and my hot corner works fine... Using synaptics touchpad with synaptics driver.

Yes I'm using that driver too (on my mba). The problem might be related to the driver, too bad I have no idea how to debug this
