Hey guys,
as we already "discussed" in the AUR [1] and some other guys stated on the Google Product Forums [2], google-musicmanager crashes on some machines.
After having google-musicmanager started from the terminal a few seconds, it terminates with the following message:
$ Successfully sent the minidump file.
google-musicmanager.log says (replaced user with $user):
...

This is my comment from the AUR. It explains what I tried to do before having the issue:
As I said, google-musicmanager worked fine a few weeks. I had the system tray and could work with it, all fine so far.
What I was doing is this:
I added folders to google-musicmanager incrementally:
../music/bandA
../music/bandB
../music/bandCThen I wanted google-musicmanager to recognize new music in my ../music/ folder. I removed all the folders and just added ../music/. Silly google-musicmanager wanted to upload all my files again, so I closed google-musicmanager, removed my whole library on Google Music, waited one day to do it properly, started google-musicmanager again and gave it a run.
There's nothing wrong with the files. I had all of them already up on Google Music and didn't touch them since then.
What I tried to fix it:
* re-install google-musicmanager
* delete ~/.config/google-musicmanager/
uname -a:
$ uname -a
Linux gridcol 3.8.7-1-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Sat Apr 13 09:01:47 CEST 2013 x86_64 GNU/Linux

I'm on the forums to ask if someone can reproduce this and maybe has an idea how to work around.
Anyone around here with the same issue and maybe some ideas?

Exactly the same happens to me here.... I tested it on 64 bit + kde... I login, it starts uploading some music and after some minutes, it crashes...

Works fine here after I updated the package from the AUR.

Yeah, It seems to be fixed with the last version: I have been uploading all my library all night long and it did not crash even once.... and before i was only able to upload like 30 or 50 songs.... now, i uploaded like 10.000.... perfect!!!
