Yup, I can confirm this bug as well, has been happening at least in the last couple RCs as well as the final 1.5. It is a bit annoying and random, but the overall improvements to firefox definitely outweigh this problem.

Shadow, are you planning on including Thunderbird 1.5?

This is very weird... Firefox 1.5 seems slow and crashy. It's identical to 1.5 RC3 (which wasn't), isn't it? :?

You know what's interesting? I have not experienced this bug again since upgrading my PC with a new motherboard [nForce 3], CPU [Athlon 64 3200+] and RAM. Before, I was using a nForce 2 and Athlon XP 2000+. The other thing that's different is, I am using Firefox 1.5 from testing instead of Shadowhand's repo.

The version from testing is ridiculously patched up.

Well, as long as this bug is fixed by those patches, I will be smiling.

I've noticed that this is a common trend amongst all distros with FF. I don't know why, but who am I to say?
In other news, repo is updated with the latest xfce4-svn.

The reason seems to be that Firefox is developing a lot of minor bugs which are not fixed when they ought to be.
(That's I'd like to see more GTK-Webcore base browsers!)

Thunar "right-click bug" is really fixed now. (Thanks MSG431)

Well, i guess the solution is pretty simple. Just use Opera instead of Firefox.

I think there's a problem between xfce4-terminal-svn and terminal-svn, both exists on the repo but there isn't any conflict between them.
Offline
Yeah, because they are different
Offline
Yes and?
Try to install both (terminal-svn and xfce4-terminal-svn) you'll get an error so, a conflict between them is a good idea no?
Offline
hm, you are right; those two packages are the same.
In reality, though, there *are* two terminals in Xfce svn. And they are different.
Offline
Jesus I'm getting good at screwing up. Terminal and xfce4-terminal are NOT the same thing, and my repo has been updated. (I made a boo boo in the svn checkout  ).

Updated Gaim-cvs due to the Gaim 2.0.0beta1 becoming available.
Gaim-cvs should be about 99% 2.0.0beta1 now. Fixed deps as well, and fixed some other various stuff (compile options on the pkgbuild now allow for fakeroot packaging). This version of Gaim is VERY tricky to get compiled right.

That's mighty strange.... here's a direct link. Not sure why APRV is doing that...

Is the thunar in your repo stable enough to replace rox? I am looking forward to thuanr, and with my new install (once get the bugs figured out, heh he
) I figured now would be a good time to test it.
Offline
Absolutely. All of the Xfce4-svn packages are pretty damn stable at this point.
