Here's a strange little Thunar bug. When I right-click on anything in a Thunar window, the file manager crashes with the message:
Gtk-WARNING **: Error loading theme icon for stock: Icon 'Terminal' not present in theme
aborting...
Aborted
What's weird is that I've seen this with several icon themes, all of which have stock "Terminal" icons. :?

Do you have hicolor-icon-theme installed?
It is reported to refuse to start or crash if this is absent

Yeah.. this is because thunar is currently compiled with a flag that treats warnings as fatal. See this post for where Benny talks about it.
(I kind of wish Shadowhand would remove this flag for our compiles, but I merely copied my gnome-terminal.png icons to Terminal.png for this case)

I have hicolor-icon-theme installed.
What bugs me is that even the Rodent theme, which was made for XFCE, causes this crash... :? Even if the Terminal icon is there, Thunar can't see it.

[stonecrest@machine nuoveXT-gnome-1.5]$ find . -name Terminal.png
./20x20/apps/Terminal.png
./48x48/apps/Terminal.png
./16x16/apps/Terminal.png
./128x128/apps/Terminal.png
./24x24/apps/Terminal.png
./32x32/apps/Terminal.png
Works here.

change the icon perameter in ~/.config/Thunar/uca.xml to a file that is there.

This should be fixed now. It was the infamous "right-click bug".
The reason this happens is because of a GTK bug in how missing icons are handled... (ie: GTK == fscked. )
UPDATE: It wasn't fixed. But it is now. And I'm an idiot.
