problem installing cvscedega

In trying to install cvscedega last week and i ran into a problem... I looked at this page <http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Cvscedega> and attepted the "method one" as it was described. Anyhow, it I couldnt get it to install correctly because it was failing somewhere in the make process. After doing some research on other forums i found that people were saying it was a build problem that people experience under gcc 4.x and that it only compiles correctly on gcc 3.5x versions. I frequently run pacman -Syu and update my stuff so i have the later version and so i cant install it as of now...

I was wondering if i was the only person to experience this, and if not then has anybody figured out how to get cvscedega installed without incident? My apologies for not posting the exact 411 from the build error... but im at home for the thanksgiving holiday and i dont have my linux box with me to recreate it.

Any help would be greatly accepted- Mike
