I recently did a pacman -Syu and ran into troubles with the udev - for some reason udev ceased to work. After poking around I realized that manually running udevadm trigger solves the issue.
Looking into systemd I found that triggering udev is supposed to be done by systemd-udev-trigger.service. Looking at journalctl -b and the dependency tree for sysinit.target tells me the target is hit and executed.
To make sure it's not the issue of not running the trigger I copied the trigger file and manually added it right before the login manager. This is executed as well - however It doesn't solve the issue.
Any Idea how I can fix this?
Thanks.
