There is a 2009 thread about whether anyone is interested in either listening to or producing an Archlinux podcast. It's 2013 now and so a new thread is made. I found the original thread in this sub forum so I have posted here as well.
Anyone out there who wants this? Anyone that can produce? What should the podcast feature? How frequent? What are the barriers?
Just for starter, what about a short podcast with updates from the forum, mailing list, and wiki. Happens once every week. Then as the show expands, it would highlight a feature script, program, or trick. Then when the show matures, it could even add a Linux in the world and talk about what's going on.

I came accross that old post some months ago, when I first started using Arch, I'd be possible interested in helping or being part of this, definitly would listen.
I was helping with the distro watch, and have done some of my own at dudmanovi.cz

The Idea sounds good. I would subscribe.
For starters it could be enough to just go through weekly news concerning Arch. If there's some positive feedback after a couple of episodes one could extend it with other features. Maybe some in-depth talk about upcoming decisions in Arch or some interesting projects.

I would listen to it aswell, although I can imagine that it is rather hard to do a podcast covering Arch Linux since we (thankfully) don't make our own exclusive stuff (besides pacman) and there is no reference Arch Linux installation.

I'd listen as well. Been looking for something like that for a while.

I think it would be cool

If there's interest in doing this but perhaps not enough to necessarily commit to a specific schedule, an intermittent "Arch Linux Updates" (or whatever) show could also be presented as a recurring "Hacker Public Radio" topic. I know at least a few of us over there use Arch, so the topic is definitely relevant.
