i've tried to install this old package from AUR , which provides support to gtk apps for XBar plasmoid (kde).
The fact is that the gnome-panel-bonobo dependency for gnome-panel is missing ( differences between gnome 2 and gnome 3 i suppose ). I'm not sure if this is the right place for posting this request ( not sure, since there have been changes with gnome3), the programming section might be a better place in case the source code is deprecated.
That said, i'm not a programmer. I'd like (and i need) some help for this. Suggestions for dependencies and/or source code are more than welcomed!
If someone is interested, please leave a message

If your goal is to have a global menu in KDE (for both GTK and Qt apps) in a top panel, go for these packages from AUR:
└» pacman -Q|egrep '(appmenu|dbusmenu|menubar)'
appmenu-gtk2 12.10.0-2
appmenu-gtk3 12.10.0-2
appmenu-qt 0.2.6-4
kdeplasma-applets-menubar 0.2.0-2
libdbusmenu 12.10.2-1
libdbusmenu-gtk2 12.10.2-1
libdbusmenu-gtk3 12.10.2-1
libdbusmenu-qt-patched 0.9.2-3
I also have gtk2-ubuntu and gtk3-ubuntu installed from AUR, but honestly I'm unsure if those are still required at all to have globalmenu for GTK apps.
Xbar stuff is really old, and KDE supports global menu ootb since 4.10 via appmenu, and kdeplasma-applets-menubar is basically like the Xbar plasmiod

Thanks for the reply. I installed the packages you suggested, though, still not working(at least, some clues ).
I can't run kdeplasma-applets-menubar neither, since i don't use plasma, but BE::Shell, which is a KDE shell developed by the same guy who made bespin/Xbar:
On BE::Shell the XBar applet has more features, yet regarding gtk support, that's something not even scheduled for the next releases ( AFAIK the developer seems not interested to implement it).

Too bad Thomas Lübking didn't switch to the appmenu stuff yet. The first screener looks really cool.
